Walt: Simplify fractions


Task description: Our task was to write a fraction, using a forward slash (/) to separate the numarator and the denominator.  

My term 3 over view!

Walt:write a term 3 over view.

My term overview is a lot of recounts and a lot of math whiz. My favorite out of these two tasks was math whiz. The reason why I liked math whiz more than recounts is because math whiz is a game that never stops. It is fun at the same time and teaches you a lot about how to solve and to add,subtract and many more things. Also a lot of sports. From cricket to rugby to tag and many more. This term has been a journey of 10 weeks in the making. This has got to be my personal favorite terms.

It has also got to be my favorite year. with my silly and crack up teacher Mr Somerville.

Who likes Sharks!

Mr Goodwin gave us the task to read a journal about shark. He then created a presentation for us to answer in full sentence's!

Year 5 and 6 camp writing!

Playing and having fun is What the year 5 and 6’s did on camp last week! Our parent helpers came to school early in the morning maybe the day before helped put up the tents! They are so nice and really helpful!

Camp is a fun and exciting time because you get to play activities with your team, sleep in tents with your friends and many more things as well ( You also get to do some baking!). This is  also a time to explore our wonderful environment, like our Pt England reserve!

My favourite highlight was the concert. It was Awesomely, fantastically good!! Our group was third. It was kinda nerve wracking because we didn’t get that much practice but came we out ok. Then the Real dealz were after us, but between every performance Miss Va’afusuaga played game with the students and the parents! It was a fantastic night!

My second favourite highlight was the mangere pools!

Traveling on the bus wasn’t that cool because it was so LOUD!!

But when we got there It was nice and quiet. After waiting a long time some people went for a swim and I was one of them. It was nice and cool. A long day was finished we got changed, sat on the bank got on the bus, went back to school and went home!

Whitebait fritters!

Walt: We are learning to follow the instructions and Whitebait fritter!


This presentation is about Whitebait fritters! I am explaning how Whitebait gets caught and how people have eaten it past the years. And How it is transfered to supermarkets. I have learned that Whitebait is really hard to find but if you fish in the right places then you actually might find some. Mr Goodwin gave us the task to follow the instuctions and make the slides look pretty without colouring in the background but adding detail.

Symbols!

This is a symbol that represent my papa because he loves to go church and to be one of gods residents. He loves to be outdoors as well. He's a good papa and a wonderful one to.

In Extension we were given a task to buddy up and draw each other a symbol that means a lot to someone in your family. My partner Ava drew this for me! Cool right !

                                                  

The Commonwealth!!

Commonwealth.

The commonwealth is like the Olympics. The first commonwealth was in 1931.

There are many sports like, boxing,javelin,shot put and many more.

What countries are apart of the commonwealth!

The countries that play these sports are  Scottland,India,australia,   

England,New zealand,Malaysia,canada,Jamaica americas,Fiji,asia.

Facts-

The commonwealth is when people from more than 50 states gather to play some related olympian games and work together to achieve their goals.
